Team Account and Rosters

Each team will have an account on the GotSoccer.com website. The head coach will be provided the log in information for the team account by the Club. The team account will display all the data regarding the team including the official team roster.

To access your team account, go to www.gotsport.com, click on Team Account and then enter the team account Username and Password. If you do not know the team account Username or Password please send an email to basc@brokenarrowsoccerclub.org.

  • By clicking on the Team Profile link the Official Team Roster can be accessed under the Documents tab. Coaches should print a copy of their current official roster and keep it with their game forms.
  • Under the Basic Team Info tab you can change the username and password for the team account and also list your team colors.
  • If you wish to change your team’s name please email the club registrar as simply changing the name in the team account may not change the name in official roster and/or schedules – team name changes are required to be made prior to the submission of teams to GCSA (generally about three weeks before the start of the season).
  • All player and parent contact information is available in the team account as well as a link to email the entire team.
  • By clicking the player name on the roster page you can also add or edit the player’s jersey number – jersey numbers are typically required for tournament play.
  • All player’s parents/guardians need to complete a medical release form which should be carried to all team activities by the coach or manager. These forms will be provided to coaches prior to the start of the season.

Game Forms

Game forms are required for each game and can be printed from the team account by clicking the “Events” tab and then the season link. Under the Schedule tab will be listed the season schedule and at the right will be a PDF of the game form which can be downloaded and printed. Games forms need to be completed and turned in after each game as instructed.

Player Passes (Mandatory for U16 - U19 Teams)

Coaches, you will be able to access your PLAYER PASSES through your Team Account, www.gotsport.com and click on Team Account, if not please contact the BASC office by email (basc@brokenarrowsoccerclub.org) and request your passes to be printed off. Please refer back to the team account info on how to access them. To make your job easier as coach, log into your team account and click on ROSTER on the grey bar. You will be able to see all your players that are registered to your team currently. Click on a player to view that player’s information, if that player doesn’t have a photo you can upload a photo of them. Uploading a photo will make your job easier, when the player passes are printed the photo of the player will be printed on the player pass, otherwise you will have to obtain a photo from the player/parent and then glue it onto the player pass. Once you have the player passes printed you will need to get all players to sign the cards, please try and have them stay on the signature line. Once you have signatures and all photos that needed to be attached are attached go and get your cards laminated, the BASC office has a laminator if needed. All players in the U16 – U19 age divisions must have player passes in order to play both league & tournament games. If you are a U12 – U14 team that is going to a tournament and that tournament is requiring player passes, please contact Barbara at the BASC office (basc@brokenarrowsoccerclub.org) and let her know you need passes. Please take note that if you have uploaded pictures of players and they are not on the player passes it is because the passes do not self update, if that is the case you will need to contact Barbara (basc@brokenarrowsoccerclub.org) and let her know that you need to get your passes regenerated.

Practice Fields

If you have yet to set up a practice field or haven’t been assigned to one please email the 3rd VP and request a field be assigned to your team. To contact the 3rd VP go to www.brokenarrowsoccerclub.org and under the “Club Info” tab click on “Executive Board”. Click on the 3rd VP’s name to send an email.

Coaches must take responsibility for cleaning up the assigned practice field(s) and managing parking. BASC is fortunate enough to have practice areas for our teams and we need to keep all areas clean of trash and debris and park in areas that we are designated for such.

Club Uniforms & Under 6 T-Shirts

Please get your uniforms ordered for your team members immediately or you will not have them in time for the first game. Teams using the club uniform will need to go to Macs Soccer Shack at 61st Street and Hwy 169 to order team uniforms.

Coaches in the under 6 division ONLY will be given t-shirts for their new players; the office manager will let you know by email when they are ready.

General Responsibilities

As a coach it is your responsibility to be familiar with the FIFA Laws of the game, the GCSA, and BASC Standing Resolutions and Bylaws as well as the modified rules for U5 – U12 teams. Updated copies of the BASC bylaws and the GCSA bylaws are available online at www.brokenarrowsoccerclub.org.
