Broken Arrow Soccer Club's Academy soccer program is under the direction of John Rhein, BASC Competitive Head Coach. John and other Hurricane Futball Club (BASC Competitive division) coaches lead the teaching environment.
The BASC/HFC Academy goal is to provide the developmental bridge between recreational soccer and select soccer through "Player Development". This is a developmental program within an advanced learning environment. A Soccer Academy is for players who strive for excelled professional training & higher-level play.
With age specific professional instruction, players are presented with "FUN" Soccer Activities that involve competition by directly & indirectly naturally maximizing soccer player development. It is for those players who want to be challenged more than their current program & foresee a pursuit in select soccer.
The goal of the BA Hurricane Futball Club Academy is to provide a more advanced atmosphere for the development of the young, recreational player who desires a higher-level learning environment than recreational soccer. The Academy will serve as a developmental bridge between recreational soccer and competitive soccer through age-specific training by licensed coaches selected and monitored by the Academy administrative staff. The Academy will serve to develop and indentify future HFC players, teams, and coaches; and will accelerate the development of the younger player.
This includes registration, team entry into an academy league, and coaching fees for Feb-April.
Possible additional fees may include:
$12 US Club Registration Fee: This fee will allow teams to play in US Club Sanctioned events. This year’s Lexas Tulsa Cup is an US sanctioned Club event.
Players will also be responsible for their portion of any tournament fees that the team enters. It is recommended that teams play in 1-3 tournaments a season.
Players may also be asked to pay their portion of any field rental fees or ref fees for any scrimmages that the teams may play.
If teams desire to train in May or June, an additional training fee of $30 per player can be assessed.
