Current Structure for BASC Recreational Soccer

Recreational Division - recreational teams that are formed according to the existing BASC Team Formation Policy. Club boundaries will be in effect and transfers from outside the club will be reviewed and processed according to the guidelines set forth by GCSA. Recreational teams are subject to promotion to the GCSA Recreation Plus Division based on team performance.

Recreational Plus Division - recreational teams that are U-9 through U-19 and compete in the GCSA Rec Plus league (or closed BASC Rec Plus league). These teams will be formed according to the club's approved guidelines and may include friendship teams. These teams may not be formed by try-outs. Boundaries will be in effect and transfers from outside the club will be reviewed and processed according to the guidelines set forth by GCSA. These teams are subject to relegation to the Recreational Division based on team performance. Top tier Rec Plus teams may apply for inclusion in the Competitive Division.

Junior Development Program - an instructional and developmental division for U-7 through U-10 recreational players. This program is for the player that wants to experience a higher level of soccer at the pre-competitive ages. Training groups will be assigned by the Clubs. Participation in the Junior Development Program is not limited by club boundaries. Clubs in conjunction with OSA's Academy Guidelines will be responsible for structuring their own Academy Program.
